Every brand has a logo.
Very few have a symbol.
Some are designed just to look good on packaging. Some are created because minimalism is trendy and apparently every luxury brand meeting now begins with, “What if we remove even more personality?” Bleh!
We wanted ours to mean something. Hence the Snake.

More specifically, the “Ouroboros”, the ancient symbol of a serpent consuming its own tail. A symbol that has existed across mythology, philosophy, alchemy, and art for centuries. At first glance, it looks simple, a snake in a circle. But, the meaning behind it is what made us obsess over it.
The ouroboros represents cycles. Rebirth, destruction and creation existing together. The idea that endings become beginnings. That people continuously evolve, destroy old versions of themselves, and become something new.
Honestly, that felt painfully human.
Because nobody really talks enough about reinvention. Especially now, when social media makes it look like everybody woke up one morning with confidence, clarity, perfect skin, and a successful clothing brand. In reality, most people are just figuring themselves out in phases.
You become one version of yourself.
Life humbles you.
You rebuild.
And voila, you repeat!
That cycle never really ends and the ouroboros captures that perfectly.
For us, it wasn’t just visually powerful, it aligned completely with the philosophy behind SINISTER. We’ve always believed identity is built quietly and over time. Not during the loud moments people post online, but during uncertainty, isolation, late nights overthinking episodes, failures, and periods where nothing makes sense yet.
“Moulded in the dark” comes from that exact idea. The dark isn’t always negative. Sometimes it’s where people become themselves.
That’s also why the snake itself felt important. Snakes have always carried contradiction. They symbolize danger and wisdom. Fear and transformation. Control and unpredictability. Across cultures, they’ve been worshipped, feared, romanticized, and misunderstood all at once.
Kind of like fashion, honestly.
Streetwear especially has always lived in contradiction. Luxury and rebellion. Simplicity and statement. Chaos and precision. The best brands understand that tension instead of trying to sanitize it.
We didn’t want a logo that felt safe. We wanted something timeless.
The ouroboros reflects how we think about clothing itself. Good fashion shouldn’t feel disposable, it should evolve with the person wearing it. Your favourite hoodie usually isn’t your newest one, it’s the one attached to memories. The one that survived late-night drives, bad decisions, airports, heartbreaks, and entire personality changes.
That emotional permanence matters to us more than temporary hype.
Because trends are cyclical too. Fashion constantly reinvents itself while pretending it discovered something new. Oversized silhouettes, monochrome palettes, minimal luxury, dark aesthetics; they always return in different forms because certain ideas never really disappear.
Just like the ouroboros. A constant cycle. Reinvention without losing identity.
That became the foundation of SINISTER.
Not loud luxury.
Not trend-chasing fashion.
Not clothing designed for thirty seconds of attention before disappearing into irrelevance.
Something quieter, more lasting and more personal.
The snake represents evolution. But the circle represents permanence.
And somewhere between those two ideas, SINISTER was created.
